Tomahawk, music player that searches music on Spotify, Grooveshark, Soundcloud or Youtube
Tomahawk at first glance looks like a normal music player, with a design very similar to iTunes or Songbird goes unnoticed to all but the great thing about this player apart to scan your entire computer looking for your music you have, is that it also searches music from web pages feeding Spotify, Grooveshark , Soundcloud , Youtube and others.
Tomahawk has something called Resolvers which connects to the player with any of these services. Thus you will always look for the music at hand, eye that the service you are looking for any video and looking for a specific bitrate for playback, it makes many issues are not. Another problem I saw is that to use Spotify and Grooveshark need a premium account, despite that, I was using with Soundcloud and YouTube and it works great.
Tomahawk is how it becomes a single player, without the need to be opening up various services so we can move from one service to another without problems.
We are grateful that the application is available in various operating systems for Windows, Mac and Linux, also features integration with social networks where you can share what you hear.
You can create a playlist of different services, to add items, simply looking for the song and drag the item to the playlist you created, you can also get the link of the item if you want to share.
The service is as simple and familiar interface we take time to get used to.
