Why do dogs pee on the tires of cars?

Have you ever wondered why dogs pee on the tires? Then is easier to answer than we think. The first thing to be clear is that the tires when they leave the factory, without any special odorless compound which can attract any dog.

Nor is it necessary that a dog has left its mark on them in any way to prevent the ingress of odors that picks up sidewalks, roads, etc.. A car travels thousands of miles throughout his life, and this also represents thousands of 'territories' where dogs attempt to be noticed.

Thus, the more odors perceived in one place, are more eager to mark his territory, and therefore, the tires are a paradise where you can notice odors with their urine and say, 'Here I am'.
