How to jailbreak an iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 or iPhone 3G with SAM [iOS 5, 5.0.1, 5.1].

SAM - Subscriber Artificial Module - is a tool that just came out for IOS, and allows us to unlock any iPhone. Provided, that have iPhone with Jailbreak . What makes SAM, is to believe the iPhone is connecting to the original activation server, allowing us to use the phone, so we have a SIM that is not the original company.

That if it is worth noting that you must have the phone and running and initially activated. And as always, with all these issues jailbreak is something you have to take at your own risk, since it can always happen problems and errors at any time.

As always, nothing like a factory unlocked phone, but here is an interesting option to free ourselves. As always, make sure you have a SIM card restore everything to original factory settings, if an error occurs.

How to Unlock the iPhone?


he first thing to do is launch Cydia on your phone. Once the jailbreak, Cydia . Here, we will Manage, and then Sources.

In Sources, Tap "Edit" and then Add. Here write "http://repo.bingner.com".  Tap on Add Source

In Sources, select "Bingner" and within the tools , you will find Sam. install it:

Once installed, tap "Restart Springboard". Now insert the new SIM to the phone after you have rebooted, and Tap in SAMPrefs. Here, go to Utilities, and select "De-Activate iPhone".

Once done, go back to the main screen of SAM, and then tap on Method, select "By Country and Carrier." AHere we choose the Country and Operator / Carrier of the original SIM, with which the iPhone is locked. For some carriers, you may need to also select SIM ID. If you later fail activation, SIM may need to select a different ID

Now tap on "More Information", and copy the IMSI iPhone Details on Sam.

On the same screen, select "SIM Real Spoof to SAM."

Return to the home page of SAM, and paste the IMSI that you copied earlier. Once done, connect the iPhone to iTunes and let iTunes try to revive your phone:

If iTunes fails, make sure you have selected the proper SIM ID. Also, check that the parameter ICCID under "Phone Number" is the same as the new SIM Card. Otherwise, change the SIM ID and try another. Once done, reopen SAMPrefs and disable by changing the Enabled switch.

Now, reconnect the phone (with Samprefs to Disabled) to iTunes. They should receive an activation error, which is normal. Simply close iTunes and open  at times, will see the signal bars appear the new operator!

The phone then can be connected to iTunes and restarted without problems because iTunes thinks he still with the original SIM (that's the whole process of SamPrefs). At least for now. It's a good idea to backup the unlock ticket
