Generally, these components that kill the excitation only released during crying completamenteemocional. The neuroscientist Noam Sobel, Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, performed an experiment to prove this. Sobel bottles collected tears of women and wet cloths on them.
Then put the cloth under the noses of men and showed them images of women. The men who smelled the tears valued images with worse rating than those without the smell. To support this scientifically, we measured their testosterone levels, which were reduced among those who sniffed back tears.
